Contra Costa Times Monday July 6, 1981 Page 12A and Friday Aug 7, 1981 Page 7B. The original firehouse (almost 100 years old in 1981) also served as Concord's first City Hall, and more recently housed the Salvation Army. Moved from location where the Bank of America financial Center was to be built, to the corner of Salvio Street and Concord Avenue. (1982 Concord Ave) In 2016 it is "Blue Star Tattoos"
